4×4 Trails Across Mountain Slopes and Farmland

4x4 Experience

Our 6 km 4×4 trail winds through the farm, climbing up the mountainside to a scenic viewpoint before descending along adventurous slopes and cliff edges. The route eventually opens onto a sweeping grass field, offering both variety and challenge along the way.

This is a trail designed for true 4×4 vehicles and drivers who enjoy the technical side of off-road driving. The course takes around 2–4 hours to complete, depending on pace and terrain conditions. Along the route, you’ll encounter a series of obstacles that demand careful attention and precise handling rather than speed.

Drivers are encouraged to use their judgment, pack rocks, or do a bit of road building where necessary to protect the undercarriage of their vehicle. Each obstacle is an opportunity to test your skills, learn more about your vehicle’s capabilities, and enjoy the rugged beauty of Camelroc’s landscape.

    • Self Drive: R100 per vehicle

    • 4×4 Tour: R500 (Fee includes up to 4 passengers)

    • Not recommended for 4×4 drivers without adequate 4×4 experience.

    • Tyre pressure reduction is advised, although not too soft to avoid damage to the tyre side walls. This is why experience is required.

    • AWD and 2-wheel drive vehicles with diff-lock will not cope with the terrain.

    • The trail is also impossible in wet weather.

    • Damage to vehicles is a possibility if you do not exercise caution on the trail.
