Accommodation

Nestled against a unique sandstone hill resembling a camel’s head, Camelroc Guest Farm offers an escape with stunning views of the Maluti Mountains. Perfectly positioned for exploring the Free State and Lesotho, Camelroc provides a range of self-catering chalets and traditional guesthouse accommodations:

Guests can enjoy leisurely walks, swimming, and barbecues against the serene countryside backdrop. The farm also offers a communal entertainment area, a variety of outdoor games, and a cozy guesthouse with a fireplace, heaters, and electric blankets for chilly nights.

Camping

Tucked into nature with sweeping mountain views, our campsite offers a peaceful and scenic escape for those wanting to slow down and reconnect.

We have four private campsites, each thoughtfully set up with:

• A shaded area with a table and chairs

• Electric lighting and a 3-pin power point

• A private braai area

A communal fire pit is available at the campsite, and guests are welcome to use the shared pool at the main house.

The campsite is serviced by two shared ablution facilities (separate for men and women), each equipped with a shower, toilet, and basin. There is also an outdoor dishwashing station with hot and cold water for your convenience.

It’s not uncommon to see blesbok grazing nearby, adding to the calm, open, and truly South African landscape. Whether you’re here for a quiet weekend, a nature-filled family getaway, or a base to explore the trails, our campsite offers a simple yet comfortable stay in a beautiful setting.
